Abstract


It has always been thought that the corporate are only money making

machines. However, contrary to this context the industry also works on the corporate social responsibility (C.S.R.). This leads to the long term success of the company and also helps in promoting goodwill in the public. CSR can be most effective in the hospitality and management sector as these are the two sectors which can very efficiently deal with the social responsibility. In recent years CSR is gaining more and more popularity. With various climate change summits going all over the world, sustainable development is the new trend. CSR is this sustainable development of the corporate sector. Further in this chapter we will analyse the role of CSR in tourism and hospitality sector. This also helps in creating customer loyalty. People are aware of the global   and more and more customers are also looking for green hotels. Tourism and Hospitality sector need to cope up with these changing trends and rise up to the occasion.
