Abstract


Microbially induced calcium carbonate precipitation (MICCP) is a novel method for the protection of cement-based materials. This paper deals the comparative studies on strength characteristics in microbial cement mortars which were treated by Enterobacter sp. M2 microorganism in different calcium source (calcium hydroxide, calcium acetate, calcium chloride and calcium oxide) with various curing process.
