A Review of Climate Change and Noise Pollution- It’s Effect on Nigeria Environment

Abstract


Noise and climate change in the built environment is fast becoming a plague in Nigeria urban cities.  The fast spreading problems calls for urgent attention so as to create a pleasant and comfortable environment that will ensure better standard of living for Nigeria. The study uses secondary sources of data and information gleaned from these sources which centered on noise and climate change enable the researcher to conclude that climate change revolve around flood, increase in temperature and other natural disaster. Persistence disturbance by noise causes several health problems. The study recommended that there should be intensive public awareness campaign so as to educate the people on their expectations particularly in the area of adaptation and mitigation. They should be sensitized about the damaging effects of noise to their wellbeing.
