Abstract


Right attitudes of mothers and caregivers towards good practices of essential newborn care (ENC) can save many newborn lives in poor resource constraints settings. However, the practices of newborn care among women of reproductive age and caregivers is still at low ebb, hence, there is need to have understanding about the current practices which could inform decision making and newborn care intervention with view of addressing morbidity and mortality arising from lack of good practices of newborn care.
